Educating Others
Our Books & Curricula

When Neiman Marcus launched our book, What I Learned About Life When My Husband Got Fired!, it was intended as the basis of a sitcom. But life never seems to go as planned. Our book took on a life of its own, and we began our journey into the world of education, and now prisons.

Although we had originally planned for our second book to be a sequel to the first, we are pleased that our second book, The Book Club Approach To Personal Finance & Life 101, is a result of teachers, organizations, families, and individuals who asked for a companion guide.

Since then, What I Learned About Life When My Husband Got Fired! has become the underlying resource (and student workbook) for over 35 different Career and Technical Education (CTE) curricula (meeting the requirements of over 70 Texas high school CTE courses). And, much to the dismay of our accountants and attorneys, the curricula is FREE to educators.
