Red likes to tell the story about the time she first met the owner of River Oaks Bookstore. (Houston, TX) She and Michael got into a "No, what can I do for you?" back-and-forth conversation, which probably sounded like a Laurel and Hardy routine. But the truth was both of them were serious. They were genuinely interested in helping the other, recognizing that it was in both their best interest to help the other party be successful.
